What happens if I file a chargeback?
If you experience an issue with an order, we encourage you to contact our support team before filing a chargeback. In most cases, we can work with you to find a resolution much more quickly.
When a chargeback is filed, the payment is immediately disputed through your payment provider. This process can take several weeks to resolve and may delay our ability to assist with the order while the dispute is being reviewed.
Before Filing a Chargeback
We recommend reaching out to our support team first. Depending on the situation, we may be able to:
- Replace a defective or damaged item
- Issue a refund when it qualifies under our policies
- Investigate shipping or production issues
- Answer any questions about your order
What Happens After a Chargeback Is Filed?
- The order is placed into a payment dispute with your financial institution.
- Our team will respond to the dispute by providing the order details, tracking information, and any supporting documentation.
- The final decision is made by your bank or payment provider—not by teelaunch.
Account Impact
Filing a chargeback without first contacting our support team may place your teelaunch account under review. Repeated or fraudulent chargebacks may result in restrictions or the suspension of your account.
We're committed to resolving issues fairly and encourage you to give our support team the opportunity to help before initiating a payment dispute.
