How Does the Tag Manager Work?
The Tag Manager helps you organize your products by creating custom groups and tags. This makes it easier to categorize products, filter your catalog, and quickly find related items.
What is a Group?
A Group is a category that contains one or more tags.
Examples:
Holiday
Christmas
Halloween
Valentine's Day
Product Type
Apparel
Drinkware
Home Decor
Groups help keep related tags organized and prevent your tag list from becoming cluttered.
How Do I Create a New Group?
Navigate to the Tag Manager page.
Under Add New Group, enter a name in the Group field.
Click Add.
Your new group will now appear in the Group dropdown when creating tags.
What is a Tag?
A Tag is a label you can assign to products to help organize and categorize them.
Examples:
Best Seller
Summer Collection
Pet Lovers
New Arrival
Tags can be used to quickly identify products that share similar characteristics or themes.
How Do I Create a New Tag?
Under Add New Tag, enter the tag name in the Tag field.
Select the Group you want the tag to belong to from the Add to Group dropdown.
Click Add.
The tag will be saved under the selected group.
Do I Need to Create a Group Before Creating a Tag?
Yes. Every tag must belong to a group. If you don't see the group you need in the dropdown, create the group first and then add your tag.
